A short break in a woodland lodge at High Oaks Grange is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled by our private woodland on our 60 acre estate in the North York Moors, these Scandinavian-style lodges offer up huge amounts of hygge and countryside charm. 

Inside each lodge, the spacious living room, dining area and kitchen offer all the home comforts and amenities you require for a cosy woodland getaway. Relax by the inviting fire, open a bottle from the wine cooler, and experience some pure, unadulterated bliss. All your kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware are provided, along with all bed linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers. We strive to make all our self-catering holiday accommodation feel like  true homes away from home.



Upstairs you will find an impressive master bedroom with a king size bed and gorgeous sloping ceiling, and a second bedroom with twin single beds. Prepare for a magical sleep experience; our Hypnos beds and mattresses are the stuff of dreams! 

We have the whole family covered with our Smart entertainment system, too. You will find high speed WiFi throughout, and the 40” LCD Smart TV in the living room comes with Google Chromecast. In the master bedroom there is a wall-mounted TV for those lazier mornings, and the twin bedroom has two TVs with a PlayStation 4! 



Outside, you will find a private garden area with outdoor seating, a barbecue, and a covered hot tub. Heaven. What could be better than exploring the North York Moors in the day, and relaxing in a soothing hot tub in the evening after a little al fresco dining? Not much! The High Oaks Grange lodges are the perfect luxury holiday homes for those who simply want a bit of peace and quiet.



And if your family contains a couple of four-legged members, we have two dog friendly lodges available. Dogs are charged at £8.00 per dog per night, which includes some dog towels, bowls, and some treats! 

On top of the stunning location, beautiful decor, modern appliances and luxury facilities, there’s certainly something extra special about our lodges. The children will think it’s fairy dust, but we know it’s the 4* rating and Gold Award which we recently received from from Visit England.
