How to Check Availability
You can check live availability and pricing for all of our cottages, lodges, glamping pods, and The Grange by visiting our Booking Page.
Simply choose your arrival date, number of nights, and number of guests to view what's available for your chosen dates.
Each property listing shows:

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4:00pm, and check-out is by 10:00am on the day of departure.
Can I arrive early or check out late?
Early check-in and late check-out may be available, subject to availability. Please note that we are unable to offer this on Mondays or Fridays due to our changeover schedule. If available, a 10% charge of the nightly rate applies per hour of additional time. Please contact us prior to your stay to check availability.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, we typically require a minimum of 2 nights for weekend breaks and a minimum of 3 nights for midweek breaks. Weekly stays of 7+ nights receive a 10% discount. Minimum stay requirements may vary based on accommodation type and time of year.

Are towels and bed linen provided?
Yes, all accommodations include towels and bed linen for your comfort.
Do the lodges and cottages have hot tubs?
Yes, every lodge and cottage includes a private hot tub, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The Grange includes a private swim spa.
Do you offer Wi-Fi?
Yes, we provide free high-speed Wi-Fi in all properties.
Do you provide baby equipment?
We can provide travel cots and high chairs free of charge. Please request these in advance so we can have them ready for your arrival. Please note that cot bedding is not available - please bring this with you.
Do you provide BBQ's?
Yes we provide charcoal BBQ's with all Cottages, Lodges and Glamping Pods. A starter pack of charcoal is provided. This is usually ample for guests, however you can pick up more locally if required.
The Grange has a gas BBQ. Gas is provided.
Are glamping pods and lodges heated?
Yes, all our accommodations include full central heating. The glamping pods have electric radiators, making them cosy all year round.
🧖♀️ Hot Tub Guidance
How do you maintain the hot tubs?
All hot tubs are professionally cleaned, emptied, refilled and water-tested before each guest arrives. We also carry out daily checks during your stay.
What temperature are the hot tubs and swim spa?
Hot tubs are heated to a consistent 38°C (100.4°F). The swim spa at The Grange is set at 35°C (95°F). For safety and hygiene, these temperatures cannot be adjusted.
Can I use the hot tub at night?
Yes, you're welcome to use the hot tub throughout your stay. Please keep noise levels low after 10:30pm out of respect for other guests.
🐾 Pet-Friendly Stays
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely! Most of our cottages, lodges, and pods are dog-friendly.
Maximum Dog Limits -
The Grange - max four dogs
All Cottages and Lodges - max three dogs
All Glamping Pods - max two dogs
Do you charge for dogs?
We charge an additional £8.00 per night per dog.
Is there a place for dogs to exercise?
Yes, we have a large 20 acre dog field on-site and are surrounded by scenic walking routes across the North York Moors.
Can dogs be off-lead?
Dogs are welcome to be off-lead in our dedicated dog field. In all other areas of the estate, please keep them on a lead for everyone’s safety and comfort.
Does the accommodation have an enclosed area for dogs?
All Cottages and Elderberry Lodge has an enclosed garden. All Contemporary Lodges have an enclosed decking. Woodland Lodges and Glamping Pods do not have an enclosed area. The Grange has a large garden but it is not 100% secure.
Can I bring other animals?
No sorry. We only allow dogs at High Oaks Grange.
🍳 Food & Shopping
Is there a shop or café on-site?
While there is no on-site café, the excellent Cedarbarn Farm Shop & Café is just next door, a short walk away, serving breakfast, lunch, and local produce.
Can I cook in the accommodation?
Yes. All Lodges and Cottages, including The Grange, are fully equipped with everything you need for home cooking. Glamping pods have a compact kitchenette with a microwave, hob, fridge, kettle, and toaster.
Where can we eat out nearby?

What supermarkets are nearby?
You’ll find several supermarkets within a short drive:
- Co-op, Pickering – 2 miles (YO18 7AE)
- Lidl, Pickering – 2.5 miles (YO18 7DG)
- Morrisons, Malton – 8 miles (YO17 7JY)
- Sainsbury’s, Scarborough – 16 miles (YO12 5EA)
Do you accept supermarket deliveries?
Yes, all major supermarkets deliver to High Oaks Grange. Please arrange for delivery after your check-in time (4:00pm) and ensure you will be here to collect delivery. Please meet your delivery driver at Reception to transfer your shopping. Delivery drivers will require your 4 digit pin number to access the estate.
🚗 Parking & Transport
Is there parking?
Yes, each Lodge and Cottage comes with dedicated parking, and additional spaces may be available upon request. Glamping Pods have a centralised car park a short walk from your accommodation. You are welcome to park outside the Glamping Pod to unload your bags on arrival.
Do you have EV charging points?
We do not currently offer EV charging on-site. However, the nearest public chargers are located at:
- Zizzi’s Car Park, Pickering – approx. 1.5 miles (YO18 7DP)
- Eastgate Car Park, Pickering – approx. 2 miles (YO18 7DU)
- Morrisons, Malton – approx. 8 miles (YO17 7JY)

🎉 Celebrations & Decorations
Do you offer celebration packages?
We don’t offer celebration services such as pre-inflated balloons, cakes, or gift packages.
Can I send decorations in advance?
Yes, you're welcome to send items ahead of your stay. We'll be happy to place them in your accommodation for you. Please make sure parcels are clearly marked with your name and booking reference.
Can I hang decorations inside the property?
Please do not attach banners or decorations to walls using pins, tape, or adhesives. Damage caused may result in redecoration charges.
