One of the most frequently asked questions we receive from guests looking to book their perfect staycation is to which is the most dog friendly accommodation. We have put together a guide to help you to choose the most suitable property for you and the whole family, including the dogs.
Elderberry Lodge
The top of the list has to be Elderberry Lodge, our 2 bedroomed Contemporary Lodge, which has a fantastic, grassed garden. It wraps around the whole lodge and is fully enclosed. This means you can relax on the decking or enjoy the expansive views of the Vale of Pickering from the hot tub, with peace of mind that the dogs will be safe and happy too.
The Cottages
All five of our country cottages are dog friendly. They have enclosed gardens, ensuring that your dogs remain safe whilst you enjoy a relaxed holiday. Dalby Cottage and Farndale Cottage are both detached cottages and have a large, enclosed garden with minimal steps internally. Rosedale Cottage and Keldy Cottage are both two-story properties. We welcome a maximum of 3 dogs in our cottages.
The Contemporary Lodges
Aside from Elderberry Lodge, all our remaining Contemporary Lodges have secured decking, ensuring that the dogs are happy and safe. All of our Contemporary Lodges are dog friendly and we welcome a maximum of 3 dogs per property.
The Grange
Our 6 bedroomed farmhouse The Grange, welcomes a maximum of 4 dogs. It does not have an enclosed garden, although it is situated opposite the 20-acre dog field so burning off excess energy is easily achieved. The Grange has a boot room which is the perfect place to clean muddy paws after a long walk. There are also 2 alcoves which are perfect for dog beds.
The Woodland Lodges
In the Scandinavian inspired log cabins, we welcome a maximum of 3 dogs. Although each Woodland Lodge is hedged for maximum privacy, they do have open gardens. Despite not being enclosed, many guests have enjoyed bringing along the dogs during their stay and all but one of our Woodland Lodges are dog friendly
The Glamping Pods
All of our Glamping Pods are dog friendly and we welcome a maximum of 2 dogs per property due to the size restriction of the pods. Each Glamping Pod has a small decking area but it is not enclosed.
Whichever dog friendly accommodation you choose, your dog will be welcomed with their own treats. They can enjoy our onsite dog field and the many wonderful dog friendly attractions nearby.
