The eye-catching Woodland Lodges at High Oaks Grange are nestled beside the private woodland on our 60-acre estate. The perfect choice for a relaxing short break in the North York Moors, these lodges evoke the look of Scandinavian-style log cabins with their open-plan living spaces and cosy countryside charm.

Inside Your Woodland Lodge

You enter your lodge via a covered porch and come into a boot room, with a comfy seat to help you take the weight off your feet after an active day. The open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen are perfectly sized and offer all the amenities you require for a luxury self-catering holiday.

In the living room, you will find a comfortable corner sofa and a large TV, with an inviting fire which brings a lovely glowing warmth to the room.

The kitchen of your Woodland Lodge has all modern conveniences you may need, including a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, wine cooler, dishwasher, oven, and a washer dryer. All kitchen utensils, crockery, and glassware are provided, so you’ll be cooking up a storm in no time! The family bathroom completes the downstairs space, offering a large bath and overhead shower. Bed linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers are all provided for you.

Upstairs you will find a Master bedroom with a king-size bed and dressing table, and a second bedroom with twin single beds. Throughout High Oaks Grange you will find luxury Hypnos mattresses in every bedroom; the ultimate mattresses for rest and relaxation. A hairdryer is provided - you will find it in the dressing table.

Entertainment For All

We have the whole family covered with the smart entertainment system in our Woodland Lodges. Throughout each lodge you can stay connected to our high speed WiFi. Simply pop in the password and connect your devices, ready to post holiday snaps, watch a movie, or plan tomorrow’s adventure.

Downstairs you will find a 40” LCD Smart TV with Google Chromecast, bringing thousands of movies, live sport* and catch up TV to your fingertips. In the Master bedroom there is a wall-mounted TV for those lazy mornings… you are on holiday after all! The amazing twin bedroom is a paradise for young children (or simply the young at heart), with each bed having its very own TV with a PS4**, allowing multi-player games to be played simultaneously. Game on!

Outside Your Lodge

If you’re searching for a woodland lodge with its very own hot tub, that’s exactly what you’ll find at High Oaks Grange. After all, no Scandi-style log cabin would be complete without one! Your hot tub is optimally heated to around 38 degrees and covered by a canopy, meaning you can enjoy a relaxing soak whatever the weather. There is also outdoor seating and a barbecue, perfect for some al fresco dining. Parking is available for one car at each lodge with further parking available onsite. Each lodge also has a bike rack for added security.

Dog Friendly Lodges

We know how much fun it is to bring your dog on holiday with you, and with miles of stunning Yorkshire countryside on our doorstep, our Woodland Lodges are the ideal place for a dog friendly short break. That’s why Buzzard, Pheasant, Curlew, Wagtail and Barn Owl lodges are all Dog Friendly. Dogs are charged £8.00 per night per dog. We provide bowls for your dog during your stay, and also some treats. Holiday collar tags with our contact details on are available from reception, for you to use during your stay.

However, we also understand that dogs are not everyone's cup of tea, so we also have Woodpecker Lodge as a dog free lodge option.
