Glamping is a great way to spend a family holiday, especially in one of our Family Glamping Pods in the beautiful North York Moors.
What is Glamping?
Glamping is 'posh camping' or at least that is how it began.... but here at High Oaks Grange our Glamping Pods are more than just a shell. We offer a warm, comfortable space where the family can relax, cook, sleep and remain cosy. It's a great way to spend a family holiday without breaking the bank.
Are there beds in the Family Glamping Pod?
You will be sleeping well in the Hypnos king sized bed and the children will love the tardis-like bunk beds where they can dream big as they snuggle down in the standard sized single beds.
Can we cook in a Glamping Pod?
You can cook up a storm in the small kitchen where you will find a ring burner, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery as well as a microwave. You'll find a fold down dining table with four chairs too so you won't have to dine on your knees.
Al Fresco Dining
Each of our Glamping Pods have a charcoal BBQ with a complimentary bag of charcoal so you can enjoy a sizzling sausage on your own decking area. Take a seat at the outside furniture where you can sit back and enjoy the countryside air - perhaps with a cuppa or a glass of wine.
Do I have to use shared bathroom facilities?
Absolutely not! Each Glamping Pod has it's own bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. You can say goodbye to traipsing across boggy fields for the loo! You can stay cosy and warm and enjoy a midnight wee without worry.
Is there a TV?
We know that sometimes you just need time to relax, including the kids. This is why all our Glamping Pods have a smart TV so you can catch up on the kids favourite programmes on Netflix or once they are in bed you can snuggle down in the comfy bed and binge watch your favourite series.
Is Glamping just for Summer?
The great news is that our Glamping Pods are heated so you can enjoy a family glamping trip during any season. An autumn glamping stay could be the perfect way to spend October half term.
Can I bring the dog?
The Glamping Pods are dog friendly and we allow a maximum of two dogs per Pod. Each pup will receive their own welcome dog treats and we also provide a dog bowl too.
A Glamping trip in the North York Moors can be the perfect family holiday option. The children can burn off excess energy at the onsite play area, enjoy walks in nearby Dalby Forest or explore the village of Thornton-le-Dale and the shops and cafes in Pickering.
