Glamping isn't just for the Summer months - our Glamping Pods will keep you cosy and warm whatever the weather.
The thought of Glamping in the UK when it's cold outside may not be your first thought of the perfect holiday. However, our cosy Glamping Pods are heated and self-contained meaning that you won't have to pull on your wellies and traipse through the mud when you need the toilet in the middle of the night.
Heated Pods
As the wind howls in the autumn, you'll feel warm and cosy in your own cocoon as our pods are heated. They retain heat very well too so it doesn't take long to feel warm and cosy after you return from exploring the beautiful North York Moors. There is something soothing about watching the rain on the patio doors whilst your snuggled up inside and you'll have plenty of opportunity to watch from your sofa or double bed.
Well Equipped Kitchen
All our pods have the benefit of a small kitchen. Here you'll find a 2 burner hob, microwave, small fridge as well as pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Enough space for you to make breakfast or a simple dinner. There is also a dining table for you to sit and enjoy whatever you have made.
Bathroom
Our Glamping Pods enjoy a private wet room with shower, W.C, and sink. This means any late night calls of nature won't be a bother as you can hop out of bed and head straight into your bathroom.
Dog Friendly
We know that when you opt to holiday in the UK you may want to bring the dog with you. They are part of your family and of course you would like to share your holiday with them, especially when we have such wonderful walks nearby. This is why all our Glamping Pods are dog friendly and we allow up to 2 dogs in each pod.
Family Friendly
One of the big events in Autumn is the October half term holidays. Our Family Glamping Pods are perfect for a family of four with a king sized bed and 2 bunk beds that are a standard sized singles. Our younger guests love the bunk beds with one guest comparing them to 'Dr Who pods'. We also have a play area just by our Glamping Pods so children can play and have fun whilst parents can watch from their private decking area.
Dark Skies
You will be able to enjoy the dark skies from your own outdoor decking area. Autumn is the perfect time to star gaze with darker nights beginning to set in earlier. Wrap up warm, take a seat on your outdoor furniture and look up. You'll be amazed at how many stars you will be able to see on a clear night. We are delighted to be within the one of the Dark Skies National Parks and our low level lighting ensures that we protect the skies above. During the October half term there is the Dark Skies Fringe Festival which runs events locally in Dalby Forest.
Out of Season
During the Autumn months, the area and the local attractions become quieter so you can enjoy some wonderful places without the crowds. Although High Oaks Grange retains it peaceful quality throughout the year, there are many places such as the Yorkshire Coast that are very busy during the Summer. Windswept beach walks (with the dog ban now lifted) colourful forest visits and beautiful sunsets make Autumn the perfect time to stay.
