 Jorvik Viking Centre

This magnificent stately home set within beautiful grounds is a fantastic visit, whether in sun or rain. At the time of writing this blog, the Covid-19 restrictions now permits indoor visits, meaning that you can now take a tour of the house. Perfect if the weather takes a turn for the worst.

If you are visiting with children then you’ll want to bring some wellies and a raincoat so that they can make the most of Skelf Island which is brilliant adventure playground for the children.
