Calling all runners, the Malton 10K is back but this is a 10K race with a difference...

Sunday 17th September 2023 is the Malton 10K but what makes this race different is that it is hosted by Yorkshire's Food Capital - so there is an emphasis on food. It is Britain's tastiest 10K.

Inspired by the Marathon du Medoc in France where race goers get to run through vineyards and enjoy 'wine stops', Marathon du Malton is a gastronomic event. Runners can enjoy various food and drink whilst running through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.  Beginning and finishing in Malton's Market Place, contestants take in some beautiful scenery including the Howardian Hills which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. 

Although entries are now closed for the Classique race (sampling food along the way) tickets are still available for the Le Sans Arret which is the traditional timed 10K race. You can work up an appetite and enjoy various food stalls once you have completed the race.

Spectators are not forgotten as there is a programme of live music, entertainment, as well as food and drink stalls.  It will be a great family fun event.  See Visit Malton for more information and to purchase tickets for the race.
