It’s National BBQ week between 3rd June and 9th June 2024 and there is no better place to enjoy a BBQ than at High Oaks Grange.

Whether you are staying in a Cottage, a Lodge or a Glamping Pod, you’ll find a traditional charcoal Outback BBQ ready and waiting for you with a complimentary bag of charcoal. Sit back, relax and enjoy the North Yorkshire countryside whilst throwing a burger on barbie and perhaps even sipping a cold beer.

At The Grange, there is a large gas BBQ on the spa deck so you can be BBQ King or Queen for your loved ones whilst enjoying the views across the Vale of Pickering. Cook up a storm whilst the family enjoy splashing in the swim spa or relaxing on the comfortable outdoor furniture.

The Perfect BBQ produce

Now you know that you’ll be able to fire up the BBQ whilst on holiday, here are our recommendations to the finest Yorkshire BBQ produce;

Cedarbarn Farmshop

Located just next door to High Oaks Grange, Cedarbarn Farm Shop offers fantastic local produce in this award winning farm shop. There are butchers specials such as Aberdeen Angus beef and halloumi kebabs and garlic chicken kebabs which are perfect for throwing on the BBQ.

Horny Cow

In the nearby village of Wilton, Horny Cow offers rare and native breeds of meat – you can wave at some of their herd in the field right next to our drive. In their farm shop you can select steaks, chops, sausages and lamb amongst other favourites.

The Whole Hogg

On the road to Malton you’ll come across The Whole Hogg which is an award winning farm shop in the area. Treat yourself to a full BBQ pack or try their speciality sausages.
