Inside a Family Glamping Pod

As many of you know, this year we expanded our collection of glamping pods from three to eight. It has been wonderful to bring even more glamping options to our estate in the North York Moors. However, we've only just been able to take internal photos of the new ones, as they've been fully booked since we opened them!

So, here you have it; the full lineup of High Oaks Grange Glamping Pods:

Grey Seal

Visitors to the North York Moors in November will witness the gentle change from autumn into winter. The flame-bright trees will start to lose their leaves, and a noticeable drop in temperature ushers in the colder months of the year.

But there's still a wonderful variety of flora and fauna to spot at this time, so grab your waterproofs, don a cosy scarf, and come with us to explore the North York Moors this month!

Spot a Deer in October

All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey... although we're keeping our fingers crossed for some glorious Yorkshire sunshine this October!

Yorkshire Coast at Sunset

Condé Nast have just published their top travel destinations for 2021, and Yorkshire has claimed the #2 spot!

Naturally we're a little biased, but we quite agree with them! Our stunningly diverse county offers fabulous food and drink, exciting attractions, miles and miles of coastline, and the wonderful North York Moors, of course.

So, what is so special about Yorkshire, and why should you choose a Yorkshire staycation in 2021? Read on to find out…

Good to Go Logo

We are pleased to report that as of July 2020, we have completed all the necessary assements to qualify for the Vist Britain 'We're Good To Go' industry standard and consumer mark.

This means that we’re adhering to government and public health guidance across our estate, and have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment to ensure we have the required processes and protocols in place to keep High Oaks Grange as safe as possible.

A Squirrel in the Moors

September in the North York Moors national park is a month of many changes. We often still enjoy lovely weather at this time of year, but the shortening days and cooler nights are undeniable signs of the season turning.

Local wildlife starts to prepare for the oncoming winter, with many birds and insects preparing to migrate to warmer climes. Read on to find out more about what you can see and do during the first month of autumn in the North York Moors…
