For bird watchers and anyone who loves the outdoors, a holiday at High Oaks Grange offers a superb opportunity to relax and enjoy the amazing sights that nature has to offer.

With Buzzards often flying overhead, High Oaks Grange is the perfect base for those looking for a weekend of birdwatching on the North York Moors. The National Park is home to many different species of birds including Marlin, Red Grouse, Ring Ouzel and Dippers (around various stream), plus a wide variety of other species in the lower regions.

Take a drive to the Yorkshire coastline where, in breeding season, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, just North of Flamborough, becomes home to one the UK’s premium seabird colonies with almost half a million seabirds clinging to the cliffs. Breeding tree sparrows, whitethroats, corn buntings, skylarks, linnets, reed buntings, rock and meadow pipits can all be seen.
