The White Swan have been AA rosette accredited since 1997, and in 2013 kitchen brigade’s food reached the heady heights of not just one but two AA rosettes, which is retained today.

The Cedar Barn shop is an Aladdin’s Cave of the most delicious food you can imagine, and it’s all either home-grown or locally-sourced. The shop's main attraction is its fresh meat counter, but they sell much more besides! The products they make from their own meat are incredibly popular, especially the famous Aberdeen Angus steak pies, which have been praised in Yorkshire Life magazine. Cedar Barn also has a fabulous range of deli products including roast beef, pork and ham, plus the very best quality pork pies, scotch eggs and sausage rolls - perfect picnic food! Fruit and vegetables grown on the farm is available in season, along with a tempting selection of fresh bread and cakes. There's also a carefully chosen range of fresh produce and groceries from some of North Yorkshire's finest suppliers: Shepherd's Purse cheeses, Stockdale's free range eggs, Whitby Seafish smoked fish, Wold Top Brewery ales and Yorkshire Rapeseed oil, to name but a few.

Ready meals are also available which are definitely a cut above the norm! They include the 'award winning' Aberdeen Angus Braised Steak with Wold Top Bitter, Aberdeen Angus Cottage Pie, Lamb Curry, Fish Pie, Beef or Vegetarian Lasagne and Leek and Stilton Crumble - they're all delicious.
